I am a freelance web designer in Bristol, England.
In my spare time I masquerade as a freelance photographer with a passion for travelling. I've been taking photos for several years but I haven't quite made it my proper career yet. It was photography that lead me into web design and that's what I spend most of my time doing (I recently co-founded a digital agency called Go Panda!), but if you're looking for some freelance photography, let me know.
I'm currently using a couple of excellent Canon EOS cameras, both digital and film, although I'm saving up to buy an Canon EOS 1D Mark III.
I like travelling, old-timey music, Peter Lorre, Evelyn Waugh and France. I don't like adverts, Facebook, celebrities or Tom Cruise.
Photography is my first love.
I use both film and digital these days, but I nearly always just use my standard 50mm lens without flash.
These images were shot on Canon EOS film/digital and tweaked in Aperture.
I prefer to work in monochrome because of the simplicity and detail that it brings. Often the simplest things are beautiful in black and white. Sometimes I like working with colours, especially when they become overexposed and distorted.
I recently co-founded a digital agency called Go Panda!. We're based in Bristol, England and we specialise in small to medium-size projects where we can really show off.
All our work complies with web standards, avoids flash and it's all elegant hand coded CSS/XHTML.
If you'd like to take a look at what we do, you can find us at www.gopandadesign.co.uk.
